Peperomia orba – (sometimes called Pixie Peperomia) is a member of the Piperaceae family and is a smaller growing peperomia than its other Peperomia relatives. It has small green leaves that are round and waxy. The leaves have a white stripe down the center when they mature. Leaf shade can vary based on the amount of light the plant receives and mature leaves can grow much larger in size than newer leaves.
Planting & Caring –
Allow soil to dry before watering as most Peperomias are prone to rot if left in soggy soil. Although a smaller plant, Peperomia orba can grow large if not kept pruned to a desirable size or it will trail over the side of a pot or hanging basket. This little peperomia likes low to medium light.
