Description

These plants will grow to 2 feet (61 cm.) tall and will tolerate light shade to full sunlight.

Spathoglottis is very forgiving, with the only crucial element they have being the air temperature around them.

They like to live in the high 80s during the day and no cooler than 50 F. (10 C.) at night.

Allow the surface and top layer of planting mixture to dry out before you water it again.

They will probably need watering twice a week, but in hot weather, they may need water more often.

Ground orchids are relatively heavy feeders and need regular fertilization.

A constant liquid fertilization of nitrogen works well, but a slow-release fertilizer is probably more reliable for consistent supply of nitrogen to produce abundant blooms.
